Question:

How do I get a book published that covers my embroidery and quilting work?

I design quilt and embroidery projects for the home. I have a lot of wonderful ideas that I would like to get published in a book, however, I do not know how to get in contact with honest and established agents. Are there any agents that deal specifically with this kind of work? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Both Martingale Press and C&T publishing (both publishers of quilt and craft books) have an open submission policy. They have a guidelines available on their websites for submitting book ideas to them or give them a call and they will send you the information. I went through this process with Martingale and have a book schedule to publish next Spring. Give it a try! :)
