Dear MIL,
What can I say
Way back in the day
When you were so young
and had a little son

You taught him to walk
You taught him to talk
You cleaned up his room
Never showed him a broom

You cooked and you dusted
Bailed him out when he got busted
Sent him off on his own
But he never was grown

Then we got together
Thinking we're birds of a feather
It was good at first
Little did I know, I was cursed

He doesn't do a darn thing around our home
He thinks I'm his Ma.....and just sits on his throne
I gave him 2 kids and oh ya, you never see them
Then you gripe they don't love you. Hello! Can you blame them?

I guess I can thank you for raising a wonderful son
Or should I say king, or prince.....oh, I'm not done.
Had I know what I was getting into
I would have shipped him back home before saying I Do!

Love,
Your DIL
