Wish that it had ears, so I could thank it,
From keeping my poor rocker being bare.

My blanket is sky blue and warm
My chair just old and torn
If my blanket grew legs and left
I'd sit in the sad chair and mourn

But if instead my blanket had arms
I'd give it a great big hug
Because it hides the ugliness
of my chair upon my rug!
