Oh, oh, so soon I'll be thirteen.
Dating, dressing, make up it's keen.
Maybe, I'll be pretty, have grace!
Or be fatter, and acne-faced.
It struck me now just then again.
I think i should just stay at ten.

Your title is suspicious and I doubt any English teacher in this country would suggest that as a subject for a poem. That is way too sensitive a subject. Appreciating kids for being cute and eager to learn is OK. Anything beyond that is wrong. I have counseled several adult women who were abused as children and the scars it left will never heal. I am glad the charge for such behavior is a felony and feel the penalty should be life.

As far as writing poetry goes, you've got to start doing it to learn it.
Plagiarizing somebody else's does not really help you.

Keep in mind that you have many choices. Free verse is great fun and you can play with symbolism to your heart's content.
Otherwise you have to follow the rules.
Pick your subject and sketch out thoughts freely. Then find the average rhythm and number of beats per line. Arrange those lines to make sense. Add or remove some words so that each line has the same number of beats. If you want a rhyming scheme, modify the last words with synonyms.
