Question:
What would be a creative way to present the history of Ancient Greece?
This is for a digital video project. All I can think of is Hercules and My Big Fat Greek Wedding. Any suggestions on how to incorporate different elements of Greek history?

What about approaching the history of Greece in terms of a Greek meal? It gives you a graphic to approach the story through.
The rise of Hellas could be dolmas, the overall society wrapping its diverse elements together under a uniform covering.
Four different entrees could represent Athens, Sparta, Corinth, and Thebes, each very different and fighting for attention, like the conflicts that arose. Athens, I think, should be mousaka, with its layers representing the stratified society.
The Peloponnesian war could be the souvlaki/shish kebab that spears through the established social order, leading to the dominance of Macedon.
Then, the brightest light of all: Alexander, represented by Saganaki, the flambe cheese!
Just thinking graphically...
