What do you mean "put something on it so it won't fall apart"? Are you intending on eating it? If not try some glue (don't try it if you intend to eat it later). What about dairy chocolate. As long as it is put in the fridge it goes hard (it is also edible) and should look pretty good with the sugar cubes and peanut butter. What about jam/(jelly if you live in America)?
