Question:

What would happen if a big metor hit the earth?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:

Well, first, it depends on where it hits. If it hits somewhere on land, it will send all kinds of debris into the outer reaches out our atmosphere. This debris will remain suspended up there for an extremely long time, many years, more or less. This will cause a rapid drop in the temperature of the earth and we will be plunged into another ice age.

If it hit anywhere in any ocean, it would be a bad deal for anyone on the coast of that ocean, or for inhabitants several miles inland as well. This will cause Tsunamis. It will suck. So just pray to whoever your God is that nothing like that happens in your lifetime...
