Is the original building o9f Omega Street school Portsmouth still standing?

yahooed it and found it is now an art school run by a trust but there was no way to email to find out if it was a new building or the orginal

I went to omega street in the 50s it was an infants and junior school then.

Hi Estelle. As you suspect, a good deal of that area has been developed but yes, the school still exists. I think it's called Arundel Court.
I'll tell you what though - if you were to come back to Pompey after all those years, you'd be completely lost. If you've got Google Earth, have a look at the Commercial Road area.
