Here's my poem, is it decent or crap? and should I show it to the person I wrote it for...?

A burden to great to bear
All alone, looking for someone to care

Been let down again and again
Future lookin dreadfully dim

Looking for someone to light my way
Cause I dont wanna owe my due, in the ultimate price to pay

Who in this world can I possibly trust
Goin againts my instincts, oh I must

I can't take this anymore
My soul is aching deep down to the core

It hurts so bad, inside and out
I still got my worries and my doubts

I reach my hand out to yours
Oh god please tell me it wont be ignored

You take my hand with the firmest grip
Pullin me outta my crypt

You've given me a shoulder to cry
You tell me not to say good bye

You look me straight in the eye
I stammer out my problems without a lie

It means more than I can say to know that you care
Seems like you're answering my prayer

But I hate myself for what I've dropped on you
You say don't worry we'll see it through

Now I write this poem for you
