Question:

I cant think of a subject for my art gcse... i want something interesting but theres too many options!?

Theres 12 options
Black, Washing, Interlocking Forms, Vintage, People grouped together, Signs, Industrial Connections, Unusual Viewpoint, Based On A country or park walk, Peel/unwrap/uncover/open, connected to swimming

Theres so many options and I have to do one huge piece of art in ten hours and lots of back up work beforehand. I like pictures where it really looks interesting and Im willling to work really hard!... but theres so many options Im just confused. Its got to be in VERY soon and the only thing I know about my drawing is that I cant draw animals.... can anyone suggest a interesting project?

At a glance I would say 'Unusual Viewpoint' too because I think you could interpret this in many different ways. You could think literally about unusual viewpoints (first thoughts: a block of flats from underneath ie. seeing all the way to the top through see-through ceilings and floors) or you could think more abstractly- how do people from minority groups view things- (eg. wheelchair users- do they feel invisible? What does the world look like when you're invisible? How do people relate to you? How do you relate to others? Or even a literal take on this: what does the world look like from a few feet down? When you can't quite reach the handle on a heavy door? Or when you can't go upstairs in Topshop and there are no facilities for wheelchair users?). 'Interlocking forms' is also quite a good one 'cause you got think about things that naturally lock together (lego or people linking arms or something) or things which don't normally lock together but still look really good locked together (erm...I dunno, think of something abstract here!). If you want any more ideas just ask... (I don't know a lot about art but I have 2 friends at art school and they're always asking for ideas with their briefs so I'm used to thinking about this stuff!)
