Question:

I have a 75 piece Royal Doulton "Orchid" pattern dinner set and wondered what the value could be.?

This set is in absolute MINTcondition and I have just unwrapped it from the original wrapping. It belonged to my grandmother. It includes a six piece setting dinner plates, entree plates, tea and coffee set, six egg cups, tureen, serving plates, milk jug and creamer etc.

Good luck in trying to sell it if you 're thinking about it.

Had my granny's Spode Dimity Rose china set, not quite as extensive as your's however after checking on ebay and a few of my local antique dealers I sold it for about 200 dollars, far less than its value I felt, but because young women no longer want those kinds of china sets. They're not microwaveable, you have to hand wash them, they easily break and are to replace.
Another friend who had a houseful of antiques has had to have them sold as an estate auction as the dealers here are up to their teeth with antiques nobody wants.
