It doesn't follow any of the the traditional sonnet format, as far as I can see. You need ten syllables per line, and every other syllable is stressed, beginning with the second syllable of the first line. That's called iambic pentameter. Then you need fourteen lines. The rhyming scheme can vary, but choose one and stick with it. An example is ABAB CDCD EFEF GG. Or another type: ABBA CDDC EFFE GG. |
