How do I get my poetry published, without paying outrageous costs??

I write a decent amount of poetry, it is really a stress reliever for me. My neices were going through my works and some of them really moved them. I was wondering where a non-scam poetry wedsite or online forum might be and how I could submit some of my poetry for publication.

I don't want to just get them printed. I would like to know if my work is good enough to be included with other great works of poetry. I have put some of my work on my blog, just to express myself.

there's a difference between being published and getting your work printed. getting published results from submitting your work to publishing companies (people that pay your for your work then put it in a book and distribute it) usually via an agent. if you work is good enough and agent will have no problem representing you to find a publisher.
getting printed on the other hand sounds more like what you're interested in. there are several companies out there that offer their services to edit, layout, print, and market your book for you. some art that bad as long as you realize that that the revenue generated from your book sales isn't every that high. and unless you put a lot of time and energy into may not cover the $3,000 + that you spent on their services. the dangerous part is that some of these companies are scams the easiest way to tell if their scams is if they offer a service like i mentioned above but still require you to submit work for review. these companies never reject anyone because they make money of of people and saying to to someone means lost income. the non-scam ones don't require your to submit work for review just work to get it printed. but if all you want to do is see your work in book format printed go to a place like lulu.com and they'll run you through the steps to get a book, of course you have to do all the work yourself but it's far less than $3000
