Why does everyone need homework help?

I mean, I don't have a problem telling students the itsy-bitsy detail about this issue or that issue when they ask it here, but it wouldn't take you longer looking that up on your own, would it?

You are so right!!!! And I notice that you can spell properly .... something many of them cannot do, which indicates to me that school is not a priority for them.

I don't mind guiding young people along the path... but do your own work! What happens when they have a job and the boss says "do this..." ? They'll run to the internet and ask for help???

So many of their questions can be answered by listening to their teachers, picking up their textbooks, going to the library, or as a last resort... using a good search engine on the internet. They don't get that it's not JUST the answer that you learn from .... it's the process of discovery.
