I need cool art project ideas to do with high school age...?

I teach high school art. Anyone have any art project ideas that are fun and interesting? School year is fading fast and so is my patience....

Choose a theme high schoolers would be interested in...."anger" for example...or more generally, "strong emotion".

Have them sculpt words which represent the theme...and the sculpting medium would have to be appropriate to the word or phrase chosen. One (sort of lame) example might be the word "sorrow" sculpted out of Kleenex....or "jealousy" scrawled in red lipstick on a photo of a supermodel, etc. I'm sure you understand the concept.

Now, whether or not this will result in any decent art is arguable, but it is an artistic exercise which: a) demonstrates to the students that art and emotion are intimately connected, b) one person's art is another person's schlock, as well as c) much of art is a by product of emotion.
Also, the media chosen can have a meaningful connection to the finished work.
I'm thankful to hear of a teacher who is interested enough in her students that she solicits ideas!
