Question:

Is this a good start for a topic paper???

I have a topic paper due for our schools annual "Fine Arts Night" and a paper from every student is mandatory, but our topic is "I Am A 100 Year Old Church"....it doesnt have to be the church its self but you can be a pew or a stainglass window or a church mouse..But i need to know if this good...Im writing through the eyes of a Dove who is sent by god to protect the church (basically and angel in disguise) And one day she is flying through the small grave yard and sees a small funeral procession of a woman she had seen in the church and she stops to watch but this is when i get into the 100 years part...see the first day the dove found the church the woman (as a baby) is getting dedicated, her father is a sailor and her mother stays at home, but soon after that about 5 years or so, the father gets killed at sea and her mother commits suicide leaving the girl orphaned...Then she starts living at the church and the dove and the girl meet and the dove helps the girl find faith and all..

sounds like a very good idea! you leave your options open, too, with the possibility of the baptism of her children, their marriages, and so on. the dove is more mobile than a window or a pew, so be sure to explore the advantages of the dove. (perhaps, from above, the dove can see what's happening on both sides of a fence, or a wall, allowing it to see the different perspectives of two people having a disagreement...)
