MY FATHER INLAW PASSED AWAY 2 WEEKS AGO AND HE WAS THE PRESIDENT OF OUR RODEO ASSOC. FOR 40 YEARS. HE WAS TRULEY LOVED BY EVERYONE AND TOUCHED MANY OF LIVES OVER THE 40 YEARS THERE. WE ARE GOING TO DEDICATE THE ARENA TO HIM AND WE ARE LOOKING FOR A POEM TO GO WITH THE OCCASION

The way I see it, most cowboy poetry was always made into a song, so you may want to start looking at lyrics, maybe your father-in-law had a favorite song, or I'm sure if you listen hard, you may find a song that reminds you of him. And a song will be more familiar to people, and think... after wards when people hear that song, they'll think of your father-in-law. Old country is the best.....Good Luck and sorry for your loss.
