Question:

Conventions of Greek Drama?

I've been reading about Grecian Drama, and most of what I've found concerns prominent people or detailed descriptions of the stage/acting platform.

If anyone could clue me in on some common themes/conventions in Grecian Drama, I'd really appreciate it.

Hubris is one, the act of being too proud leading to one's' downfal. Greek tragidies and comedies were the main two.

Aeschylus is seen as the inventor of tragedy and Euripides and Sophocles also won many festivals with their poems. Oedipus rex is probably the most common play where he marries his mother, kills his father and jabs out his eyes after he figures this out.
