Question:

What do linear perspective, vanishing point perspective, chiaroscuro and sfumato all have in common?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:

They were all developed during the Italian Renaissance. All of these show the illusion of perspective. Linear perspective uses vanishing points. You may be looking for atmospheric perspective which uses value changes, proportion, and page placement. Sfumato was successfully developed and used by Leonardo da Vinci. Chiaroscuro refers to strong contrast between light and dark. Brunelleschi developed the theory of linear perspective. He was a genius in his own right as well. I placed a few websites about these, but there are many many more.
