My brother gave me an Easton Press Edition of The It's a Wonderful Life Book by Jeanine Basinger!. It has the original short story which was the basis of the film, interviews with a couple of the people who took part in the film, the final script of the movie as well as earlier versions, pictures from the movie and more!. It's a lovely book!.

No, he didn't write anything inside the book!.

Surprisingly I've only ever received one book as a gift!.
It was for Christmas and the book was Marked by PC and Kristen Cast!.

It's not the most amazing book ever written but I was so overjoyed when I received it because my friend had taken the time to consider what I might have liked!. She realized my love for books and my obsession for Twilight at the time!. There was no message in the cover but the careful wrapping showed that it was thoughtful!. I didn't want to open it, since it was so neat!.

I've actually wanted many different books as gifts, like the Harry Potter 7 book box set but it is like over $100 and there is no way my mom would pay that much for books!. also books that I could reads over again I would enjoy as gifts!.

Other books that I have in my house are either not mine or received from teachers!. i usually just check out books from the library!.

I guess what I'm trying to say ( I know I'm rambling lol) is that I don't really have a best book recieved to me as a gift because I only have one to choose from!.

My goal is to someday own a massive library where I can own every book I've ever read and liked!. (and to get that harry potter book set, you know for the grandchildren :) lol)Www@QuestionHome@Com

my parents dint write a letter cuz for me books are sacred and it feels like vandalizem (yah their that important)
but the BEST BOOK i got (i nevr new it existed)
was the temple of the dragon slayer dragonlance series: new adventures
allthough this book is out of print i couldn't stop reading it it was wonderful
it is about this girl named nerra who lost her memory (all except random facts so like she fergot her whole history except her first name)
and her quest to find it!. she is aided by a ranger who was payed to accompany her by a wizard that found her!. throuh out the book she acquires companions such as a knight a minotaur a kender and an elf!.
this book has adventure mistrey betrayal and a tad of romance!.

My boyfriend got me a Phillipa Gregory book I had actually already owned!. He knew I adored her books so he picked one out and gave it to me, a random little gift!. I didn't tell him that I had already read it, since it was a sweet gesture!.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix!. I was never planning on reading the Harry Potter series, but my dad got it for me when it came out because he knows I like to read, and so I figured I'd read it since I had it, anyway!. Now, those books are my absolute favorites!.
