There both poorly written over hyped books, but Twilight definitely is the absolute worst!. HARRY POTTER!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Ive never read harry potter, yet from several interviews with other authors, harry potter is much MUCH better written then twilight (horrible)
yet twilight is better for those teenage girls with all the same fantasy about getting a guy like edward cullen!.
So, if you were asking a guy, they'd probably say harry potter, but if your asking a teenage girls, most will probably say twilight!.
But then again, I know plenty of people who love both

Harry Potter!. Twilight has nothing on Harry Potter!.

3 reasons:

In Harry Potter, the protagonist (Harry) has an interesting, strong personality!. He is smart and courageous, and he has many other qualities that make him stand out from other characters!. Whereas Bella is completely dependent on guys around her, and she can't even walk down the street without tripping! What does she have going for her besides looks anyways!?

The plot in Harry Potter is infinitely more interesting and well-thought out!. There are twists and turns that you would never expect!. And Twilight!? All we hear about all the time is the same thing: Edward is gone and Bella can't survive without him!. Or Bella, due to her stupidity or clumsiness, gets kidnapped and has to be saved!.

Third reason: Let's face it, the vampire genre is pretty hackneyed!. And Meyers doesn't bring anything new to the arena!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

well personally i love them both
i dont see why people say we cant like both or why theres this big thing between people who loike twilight and people who like harry potter
i love harry potter ive grown up with it and watched the films most of my life
they are a fantastic series of books and really well written!. but now im a little older i can find parts of the books im not hapy with such as important characters being killed off and how jk rowling had a full on massacre in the final book which i thought was unessecary!. well obviously some people would inevetably die but FRED!?!

twilight i only got into a few years ago and i also really enjoyed!. i love the plot and twists and everything!. i didnt like quite how lovey dovey it was or the unusual ending of breaking dawn!. but they were also very good books
