Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
J!.K Rowling even though its really hard for me to say no to Stephen, those two are the best authors EVER!
But to me, i've grown up with HP and personally i think they are awesoment of the awesome :)
I wouldnt say stephanie meyer even if my life counted on it, im sorry but the twilight saga is the worst series of books EVER! :(Www@QuestionHome@Com

Strephen King and when the other two have written for over 35 years and have sold over one trillion books total amongst all their literature, have over thirty movies made from their writngs, then we can make a more comprehensive comparrison!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

A writer's goal is to entertain, so sales and movie adaptations must be a main factor in the measuring of writing ability!. All three have shown they can do this, but Stephen King has proven himself over a longer time!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I would have to pick Jo Rowling!. I love Stephen King, but the ends of his stories are always disappointing!. Rowling is very creative, and writes phenomenally!. She's created a world that anyone who has read her books would like to be whisked away to!. Her characters are interesting because they have flaws and other characteristics of real people!. There is more to them than looks, unlike Meyer's characters!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I would go with Rowling!. To be honest I was never interested in many of King's books!. Too wordy, and all the books seem the same to me!. Of course I agree with many others that he is the King to horror literature, kind of like Elvis was the King of Rock and Roll!. I just prefer Rowling as her books captivated me more than any King novel!.

Meyer!.!.!.HA!.
I'm a better writer than Meyer!.
And my writing is lower than dirt, so Meyer is crawling with the worms!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Stephen King!.!.!.I grew up with his books and always look forward to seeing movies based on his writing!. I admit that I don't like all of the horror ones of the past years, but love his first works and the more dramatic ones like Shawshank Redemption, Dolores Clairborne and Misery!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'd have to say Rowling simply because I have never read King's stuff (don't like horror novels), but I can't deny the fact that he's a very talented writer!.

Personally, I don't think Meyer should even be compared to them!.!.!. her writing isn't even on the same level!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I love all of these authors as they are all so different with King writing about horror, Rowling wizards and witches and Meyer vampires so its hard to compare them all really and pick a fave!. I would say Rowling as i loved her and Harry first!. Lisa Michelle x x lol x xWww@QuestionHome@Com

I'm torn between King and Rowling!.
But I'm going to have to go with Rowling, because I grew up with her!.
She played a huge role in my childhood, and my growing love for literature, and I'm more than a little attached :DWww@QuestionHome@Com

Rowling!. I agree with Mimicmolly because it is true that Stephanie Meyer just got lucky!. I mean, I'm a Twilight fan, but I don't like her writing!. It's not even near or good as Rowling and King!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Rowling
However, somebody out there is better than the three:
