Original powers!? The story line (boy/girl discovers he/she has powers and must overcome difficulties and battles) is highly unoriginal in itself!.

Edit: Sorry, I'm not being intentionally mean!. I'm just in a bit of a crappy mood today!. =)Www@QuestionHome@Com

How about the power to read what people are thinking!? This would be a useful plot device no matter what kind of story you are going for!. If it is a love story then you could have her mysteriously not be able to read the mind of the guy she likes!. And if there are fights she could win the fights by predicting the opponents moves!. The villain could be a more experienced mind reader, preferably an authority figure so that the reader will be frustrated that this "bad guy" got to where they are by abusing their mind powers!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well, Muggle, what about she has the power to destroy all Twilight books ever made! That would be a good one!.

To Samantha: Yes the idea is fairly unoriginal but I do think your answers can be a bit harsh! Tone it down a bit!Www@QuestionHome@Com

How about the main character being able to read peoples feelings/emotions!. Like she can tell what kind of job they're in from how the walk, talk, act!. She can tell if they mean her harm, things like thatWww@QuestionHome@Com
