I thought it was manipulative and hated the ending!. The idea is to make you think about moral issues around organ donation and "designer babies!." Were the parents right to conceive Anna to save Kate!? Should Anna donate her kidney, even though none of the other procedures have cured Kate!.

If these are interesting issues to you, then read on, but be prepared for the author to tell you, at the end, what you should have thought!.

If you aren't into moral dilemmas or would rather think about them in a less contrived context, then abandon the book!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

This book seemed to get a lot of hype but i found her other books better stack with it tho its worth a read!. Then try her book the Pact you wont put it down!. All her books are great, although some of her very early books arent as page turning!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
