When I was ten, I was reading Piers Anthony books, and I was "getting inside the mind of Hitler!." I'd recommend reading some of Tamora Pierce's books though!. She's good, and she normally deals with girls working in a male world!. For example: She had one of her female characters train to be a knight in secret!. It showed how she coped with being surrounded by boys and all that!.
