OUTLANDER by Diana Gabaldon:

Not Victorian, but a historical adventure romance!. Most romantic series of books I've ever read!. Takes place during the second Jacobite Rising and the American Revolution!. It's about this woman, Claire, who accidentally travels 200 years back in time and meets the love of her life, James Fraser!.

P!.S!.
The Other Boleyn girl takes place during the reign of the House of Tudor!.!.!.Queen Victoria would rule 3 centuries later!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well, "The Other Boleyn Girl" is set in the 16th century and "The Duchess" is Georgian (1714-1830), so neither of them are Victorian (1837-1901)!.

However, if you're looking for great historicals, there are a number of them out there!.

I'd suggest

Anything by Jane Austen (Regency)
Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte (Victorian)
The Scarlet Pimpernel by Baroness d'Orczy (Georgian)
Flowers From the Storm by Laura Kinsale (Regency)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Check out Jane Austen - amazing author, amazing stories about love and all of its difficulties!. My favorites are Pride and Prejudice and Northanger Abbey!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
