The Great Illustrated Classics version does, but its not the complete novel (its been shortened and simplified)!. I personally loved the books (Oh Gilbert Blythe! I had such a book crush on him!.) and would suggest them to anyone!. The first book can get a little thick sometimes with Anne's rambling but still pretty good!. My personal favorite is the third one!. I doubt you'll go crazy for this series like you did with twilight (it doesn't have the pop culture support for obsession)!.!.!.but then a few months ago I had an insane ugre to reread the series (and I did)!. It was just as good as it was when I first read it in 7th grade!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Anne of Green Gables starts with the heroine about 11 yrs old, but then follows her up through our modern equivalent of high school and college!. It's a wonderful book -- in fact, it's a series, although I really only enjoyed the first two books!. I haven't read Beach Blondes, but I highly recommend Anne of Green Gables!. It's a sweet, funny, moving story!. And it's a novel, not a children's picture book!. I only read the first book, but it was absolutely amazing!. I couldn't put it down!. And yes, Anne of Green Gables is for kids!. But it's also a novel!. And I'm not sure, the copy I read was a novel with over three hundred pages!.Www@QuestionHome@Com i think anne of green gables can be read by anyone from any age group, though you do get a great impression of it reading it as a kid!. but yeah i still read it and actually so does my grandma so there you go! it can come in kiddy versions with lots of pics but don't let that bother you, you can get it in lots of editions, pictures not included with some of them!Www@QuestionHome@Com Anne of Green Gables was originally written for all ages, but these days it's seen as a children's classic!. I reread it only a couple of weeks ago, and I didn't enjoy it any less!. I still cried at the end :) It's a good book, you should read it!Www@QuestionHome@Com Hmm!.
