Question: I need names of Heroines in classic/famous literature who have this personality!?
She doesn't believe in or is very skeptical of romance
She's kind of clairvoyant, or has very strong, accurate intuitions!.
Very protective of her family, etc!.
Now I'm not looking for all these traits to be met!. But so far the only characters I could think of are: Cassandra (Greek Mythology) for clairvoyancy, Elizabeth Bennet for the skeptism about love, and Jo March for the protectiveness!.
You see, I'm working on a novel and one character has all these characteristics!. And since I love allegory in stories I've decided to name her after a literary character with a similar personality!. Originally I settled on Cassandra, but now I'm rethinking it since her story has little to do with skeptisms about love, which is this characters primary flaw!.
What do you think!? Can you give me any more names!?
And don't say anything about the allegory!. I know a lot of author's warn against it, but I'm having fun with it, and don't intend to change anything!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Something to keep in mind about Cassandra - she's remembered not so much for being clairvoyant, but being cursed so that no one would believe her true predictions!.
I don't know that there is a character in classic literature with all three traits, because most classic literature is realistic fiction, not fantasy, and doesn't have many mind-reading characters!. Give yourself some poetic license with your character's name - you can name her after a famous heroine, but it doesn't have to be someone with all of her particular quirks!. She is very protective of her father - she even considered rejecting a marriage proposal for fear of leaving him alone!.
She is perceptive of Harriet Smith and Mr Elton to a certain extent!.
