Question: Can you suggest some Fantasy authors!?

I'm grateful for any suggestions on authors that write great character driven Fantasy!. Trilogy's are my favourite!.

Personally I would not say Stephenie Meyer or JK Rowling and such because they are more horror/supernatural than the kind of fantasy I like (which is more psuedo-medieval)!. But if you like the horror stuff I would add Neil Gaiman to that list and maybe Clive Barker for a real chill!.

For the medieval type of fantasy try David Eddings, Robin Hobb, Sara Douglass, Raymond Feist, J!.V!. Jones, Tad Williams!. Terry Pratchett if you like Monty Python-ish humor with your fantasy!. But don't read Robert Jordan's Wheel of time series unless you are prepared to read over 10 books of story and then be left hanging since he died before finishing it!! :(Www@QuestionHome@Com
