Question: What happened to Robert's accent in twilight!?

is that actually true that he had to fake an american accent!? Because as soon as i saw the interviews and stuff with him AFTER twilight, he had this strong english accent that I didn't notice in Twilight, some people were saying he had to fake the american accent, if that is true!.!. why did he have to!?!? oh and Robert is Edward Cullen ;)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes, he is an British actor, he been in Harry Potter!. Yes he had to fake an American accent in the movie which i was pretty upset about!.!.!. I would rather him do the movie with his British accent!. In the book Edward doesn't have a British accent that's why he had to fake it in the movie!. In the movie it seemed that he was trying hard to do the American accent, he said himself in an interview that he would slip sometimes and starts talking with the British accent!.

It's called "acting!." It's what actors do!. There are numerous actors who take on different accents for their roles!. Some are more successful at this than others!. Hugh Jackman, Ralph Fiennes and Jude Law are just a few that come to mind!. Meryl Streep is the queen of accents!.

Actors adapt to the role!. Can you imagine the bedlam that would have ensued had the movie presented the mid-western Mr!. Cullen with an English accent!?

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! as fans like to say!.

Emergency rooms across the country would have been overflowing with the victims of apoplexy!.

Robert Pattinson is english, which means he has an english accent!. If you have read Twilight- it never mentions Edward having an english accent, and it would not be logical if he did have one!. So!.!.one of the reasons Robert was cast as Edward, was because he could do an "american accent" really well!. So in the movie, that accent was fake, and his real voice sounds a lot different!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Rob Pattinson was born & raised in London!. In real life he has an English accent!. So yes, in Twilight he played Edward Cullen, an American boy & he had to have an English accent, he was acting!. In his next movie Little Ashes in which he plays famous artist Salvador Dali he will have to fake a Spanish accent!. He's a great actor though, I love him & Twilight!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
