Question: What are good classic stories for a 16 year old like me!?
I don't want those hard to read classics, I want those which are easy to read :]

I'm done with the Adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain and Daddy-Long-Legs!.!.

I'm currently reading The Secret Garden!.

Thanks!

PS: Preferably published by Penguin ClassicsWww@QuestionHome@Com

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte (love, love, love it)
My Antonia by Willa Cather
Pride and Prejudice (you could watch the movie first)
Sense and Sensibility (another great movie)
both by Jane Austen

A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens

Poetry and Prose of Edgar Allan Poe

Not necessarily a penguin classic, but a great read: A Girl of the Limberlost by Gene Stratton Porter!. It's an American classic!.

A really easy read but worth every single word:
Patricia McLachlan's Sarah Plain and Tall
it's so lovely!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Go for Jane Eyre like the previous answerers have suggested!. It is indeed very very good and passionate!. When you have read it try Pride and prejudice which is easy and funny and humorous!. If you liked Pride and prejudice better continue with the other Austen books!. If you liked the passion better continue with Wuthering heights and The tenant of the wildfell hall!. The picture of Dorian Gray is also good and The woman in white!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
