Question: 'Tis the season, writers!?
So, there's only a few weeks left before a big reset on everyone's calenders and the important contests, the impressive fellowship programs, and the publishing money to experiment on new writers all start over - so what are your plans for 2009!? Got you eye on a contest!? Will this be the year you get printed in Playboy!? Building an application packet for a fellowship program!? Got the manuscript just about polished up and ready for the right publisher!? What are your plans!?

And remember, no plan at all is a plan to fail!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I recently made a sale to a legitimate anthology, and it's renewed my self-confidence (as much as anything does, anyway)!. My plan for 2009 is to get an agent and sell the books sitting on my hard drive!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Hi there,

*BIG sigh*

I am going to work on my final exams, somehow take a class of students through A-Levels without going mad, keep up with the housework, play a part in "The Crucible", and if I have any time left at all, I'll probably be sitting in a corner, staring into the air!.

*ENORMOUS SIGH*

Inspiration = zero!.

Cheers

I finished off my fifth novel early December, and am playing around with a few other projects until one of them hooks me for sure!. Of course, I write for the sheer pleasure of it!. If I ever write something that I believe is worthy of publishing than I suppose that's whenever I'll become serious about the procedure!. As of right now, I'm content with where I stand!.

After months of procrastinating (or I like to call as "writer's break"), I'm just about finished on my novel!.

I hope to get an article published on the newspaper, I suppose!.
And there's a contest I was able to get into the finals, I hope I win!. The results will be posted in January!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'm planning to actually write!.
I attempted the first chapter of my first novel, re-read it, and it was horrible!. After that, I haven't written much else except for English class!.
I'll probably just force myself to write at least a page of ANYTHING each week!. (:Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'm trying to finish two short stories that I'm working on, but they are coming along slowly (very slowly)!.

That's all that I have engraved in stone right now, I'm not good at planning things in bulk, since something almost always happens!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Write the rough draft, polish it up with successive drafts, and then!.!.!.submit, submit, submit!
And, of course, continue to write more material after that!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'm working on finishing my third novel, and restarting the first one I ever attempted!. I also have a newly completed short story that I'm polishing to send off to anthologies!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Just hush!. Hush, I tell you!

** Hey, you go, Maryn Bittner!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I guess I'm planning to fail at the moment!. I'm not much of a planner!. Let me think, and I promise I'll edit as soon as I think of a plan!. I'll come up with something MacGyver would be jealous of!.

Edit: Okay, well, I was mulling over things over Christmas dinner at my grandparents' tonight and I decided that I'll start writing again this summer (maybe)!. Right now, I just do feel like I have the energy or the skills to pull together anything that I'll be happy with!. After a semester of Journalism, maybe, but I might even wait until Summer of 2010 when I finish some of my English Honors classes!. I've tried writing my -one- novel before, and it's fallen apart several times!. Now it's kind of lying in the floor dying!. I don't know if I'm going to revive the whole thing or just pieces!. But, before I start my Junior year, I want to at least have something of that novel going!.
I'm also working on a Mary Sue novel!. It's completely generic and it's actually really hard to write!. I'm just randomly stabbing at it when I can muster the energy right now and it's not really formed at all!. I think I'll benifit from the waste of time this novel will end up to be though, for more than one reason!. I'm going to try to finish this one before I turn twenty!.
I don't plan on publishing anything!. Maybe not ever, but certainly not now when I'm like this!.

That's my ill-formed plan!. I get credit for trying!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
