I went through the same thing when I was 18 (i'm 20 now)!. I read when I was a child, but as I grew up I had a hard time finding books that interested me!. I just went to a bookstore and started looking around!. Sometimes you might have to force yourself to read a book!.!.!.what type of books used to interest you when you used to read!?

The ones I remember that brought me back into reading was books by Sophie Kinsella of the Shopoholic fame and Can You Keep A Secret!. Then from there I went to Meg Cabot's The Boy Next Door!. Then Cecilia Ahern, who wrote P!.S!. I Love You and one of my favorite, If You Could See Me Now!. They are all either lighthearted, comedy/romance!. Right now, I really adore Jodi Picoult's books!. They are all fiction, but deal with real issues!.

I also really loved In Cold Blood by Truman Copote, it's kinda boring the first 10 pages but then it is amazing, on of my favorites! !.!.!.!.recently I finished reading Harry Potter and Twilight!. HP was amazing, and I could see the whole hype, but Twilight wasn't as good!. The Five People You Meet In Heaven by Mitch Albom!.

Right now, I am reading The End of the Alphabet but in between I read so many books I can't name them all!. They were all different genres from comedy, action, adventure, romance, history, mystery, etc etc!. I have to say my sister also helped my telling me to "read this book, read this!", and I have to say it helped a lot!. Because one of the series she recommended to me I love (The Mediator Series by Meg Cabot)!. or try mary higgins clark, stephen king, james patterson, agatha christie!. I loved reading Murder on the Orient Express, mysteries are one of my favorites!.

The point is just to give yourself an hour or so at a bookstore and just look around!. Pick it up, open it up, look at the covers!. If you can't do that, then go online and look around at barnes and noble or borders!. click from one book to another!.

Find a genre that you have some interest in and from there on you'll expand your interests within time!. Give it a chance, because reading is a great adventure and honestly you are missing out a lot!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

idk, i liked those!. tried to give you the shortest 'summary' ever!. maybe they'll get you back into reading =]Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's really all about interest!. You have been changing a lot; you went from being a little kid, to being a young adult in just 8 years! That's a hell of a change! It's no wonder that the things that interested you when you were little don't interest you now!. You're a different person!.

When one of my friends was 12 or so, he lost interest in comic books, which had been his passion!. He missed the interest, but not the comics!. This went on for a while, until he asked one day for something new to read!. I suggested James Bond novels!. This was back when Ian Fleming was still alive!. Anyhow, my friend read "Goldfinger" and loved it! He avidly read the rest of Ian Fleming's Bond books, and that got him out of his slump!.

Keep trying to read what your friends discuss!. Eventually, you'll find a series or author that gets you just right!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well first the Twilight Saga is a great series! I would totally recommend those books!. The author is Stephanie Meyer!.

You can read books from Sarah Dessen because she is a great author!. Some books from her are Keeping the Moon, Someone Like you, Lock and Key, Truth about Forever, That Summer, Dreamland, and Just Listen!.

Another good author is Elizabeth Scott!. I have read two of her books, Perfect You and Bloom!. Both are great! There is another book by her called Stealing Heaven!. But i have not read that one yet!.

Overall, these are good books!. A couple of years ago, i didnt like to read at all!. But these books will make you WANT to read them!.
