Question: Question for the famous twilight fans!?

Why is everyone obsessed about these ridiculous books!. I really do not undesrtsand it, it seems so weird to me!. At first the goths and emos were drooling over it now everyone is reading them!. I really just dont get why people are so obsessed with it!. Please enlighten me!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well,I thought the same thing as you "God,why the heck does everyone love those stupid books!?!!?!" But then I decided to see what everyone was talking bout and read the first one!.As I was reading I was completely captured by the story and fell in love with Edward!.I was hooked and read the rest of em within the next week!.I was captivated by the story line and the love between Edward and Bella!.It's all personal preference though!. I'm a hopeless romantic and a sucker for a love story it also doesn't hurt I love to read!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Personal preference I guess!. Although it could have something to do with a certain popular sparkly vampire!. I guess they find it entertaining, I don't see how!. Personally I thought the books were terrible but hey, to each their own!.

EDIT@ E CULLEN: I mildy resent you proclaiming that Twilight is the perfect book for females simply because it is mainly romance with a little action and adventure!. I don't like Twilight and I don't read romance novels!. It's okay if the novel has romance in it but I don't want that to be the main plot line!. I prefer suspense thrillers like Dean Koontz's work!. Next time think before you stereotype!. A better way to put it would have been that "twilight is the perfect book for a lot of younger females"

Well if it isn't your thing it isn't your thing!. Twilight is the 'perfect' book for females, it is mostly romance, but with action and plenty of adventure spliced in!. I like it for the story, it is the ultimate tale of forbidden love!. A vampire and a human, trying to make it work!. He is constantly struggling with wanting to kill her, and she is constantly worried about being inadequate!. You will get a lot of heat from fan girls who are all about Edward, but that isn't me!.!.!.I like it, but that doesn't mean you have to!. I do however, feel that you shouldn't judge something you know nothing about!. Maybe you should read it, at least you could fully criticize it then, and hey you may fall in love with it too!. hers why: i personally enjoy the series because it is very well written by someone who is, in my opinion, a very good, descrpitive writer!. stephenie meyer had a dream about a vampire and human in love, so when she woke up, she just started writing!. it was just for fun!. later, she showed twilight to one of her friends, and they told her to try and publish it!. at first, no one would take it because it was stephenie sfirst book!. then, finally, one did!. since then, millinos of people have read twilight and enjoyed it!. so much, that they made a movie out of the first one!. so many people loved that, they decideed to do a movie of the second and third books!.

as for the story itself, it deals with the love of two people who love each other, but cant really be toghter because of who and what they are!.it has action, suspense, and romance!. in my opinion, it is just an overall good book!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I guess girls read twilight they put themselves in bella's shoes, and you just picture youself as her, and as if your edward's bella!.

Edward is just so romantic and caring!. He would die for bella, and he would rather be dead than to live without her!. That just makes girls awe!. Because it would make a girl feel so special if i guy ever told her that!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well personally for me, it is about the way the writer writes the books!. She makes it the way I like it, Bella being different from the Cullens, and action with romance between a Sci-fi character is the type of books I enjoy!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

because they are well written with a compelling story line!. If you are not a fan of vampire fiction or romance you will not like it!. A good deal of people however seem to enjoy it!. Why do people like Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter or any other successful series!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well, it holds some exotic flavor to it, y'know, vampire and humans!. also, the whole living-forever-as-a-gorgeous-vampire holds some interest to people and allows them to indulge in their fantasy!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
