Well I don't put a age limit on reading material!. I'm 27 and i've read twilight!. When I was younger I've read books by mya angelou, nikki giovanni, and ernest gaines and they were all about sensitive topics such as molestation, rape, incest, crime, sexuality, racism, etc!.!.!. no big deal as long as the individual is comfortable reading and understanding the material!. Many of the banned books are taught in certain schools that deal with these above issues by professors or teachers!. I think Halse anderson is an excellent writer and she writes for young adults!. To each their own is what I say!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

There is no age limit on how old you have to be to read adult fiction or if your to old!. A good book is a good book, regardless of genre!. The only reason there are specifications on genre is to help people find the different genres they prefer!. I'm 21 and I read mostly young adult fiction!. Mostly because that's what I write for, but also because I think young adult fiction isn't cluttered with a lot of the things adult fiction is cluttered with!. Drugs, abuse, sex etc!.!.!. But they are able to create some really great stories without the crap!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Age is only a number in my opinion!. I think I'd still read Grimm Fairy Tales to myself when I'm 40 or something!.

My English teacher is 45 and she read all of the Twilight series in 2 weeks!. =) So I don't really think there's an age limit on that book!. It's just a matter of taste!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Never too old!. I'm an adult (25) but I still read and enjoy lots of young adult fiction!. My favorite series is "His Dark Materials" by Philip Pullman!.

I read the Twilight series!. I thought the first book was worthwhile but found the rest to be awful - flat and poorly plotted!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You can never be too old to read books for younger audiences!.

Every time I see a good kids book, I flip through it to see what it's like!. But I'm dyslexic so I find the large text easier to read anyway!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'm a "young adult" and I'm reading Hubert Selby!.
I think that overall "Young adult" books are just censored crap!.
Check out Selby's stuff btw!.
