Question: Question for all of you who are writing novels!? !?
I would love to write a novel, I have been writing since I was a kid!. The biggest thing that discourages me from writing a novel is do people even read as much as they used to!? It seems in the world today that people would rather watch tv, go on the internet or play video games instead of reading!. Plus the other thing is that their are so many different authors out there!. I dont want to be like Danielle Steel or Barbra Taylor Bradford or anything, but I do want people to know my books are out there for reading!. I was thinking of doing mystery/suspense, contemporary romance or historical fiction romance!. What types of novels are you all writing!? Do you have an agent!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think we have to have faith with the general public!. There are people who read in secret!. There are still "book reports" for school, haha!. There's still book clubs that get people to read!. You know, you've got to worry about what makes you happy!. The rest falls into place with good publicity, which will come if you have a good book (or a bad one too, as we have seen recently!.)
I gotta kick you in the butt about this, don't take it personally!. STOP procrastinating :) Just write it already, and don't worry about the tv watching zombies!. The rest of us need a place to escape to, so make one for us!Www@QuestionHome@Com
im writing one short story about a teacher who goes crazy and shots up her class, one novel about a women who just recently found out shes been a vampire for 4 years and another one about a girl who runs away from her horrible grandparents, and spends her life on the road!. i love to, i think the last time i watched tv was about 2 months ago and that was only because my favorite movie came on and i was bored lol!. I don't have an agent yet, but im working on it!. if you ever get published i would gladly read your book!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
It seems fantasy romance is what the few readers left, enjoy so that is what I am spending my time writing, and no I don't have an agent!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
