The Anita Blake Series, it's like the twilight saga but for an older audience!. The Eragon Trilogy is really good!. also the Perseus Jackson series is good, it's about Greek gods and goddesses!. also the House of Night Series was a lot like twilight but all about vampires, it was awesome!. Lastly the Blue Bloods series!. Some random books that I've read that are really good are:
Female Intelligence(funny romance)
Dogs of Babel
A Countess Below the Stairs(a countess who becomes a maid)
The Alchemist
Wicked Lovely(about fairies)
Beastly(modern day beauty and the beast, made me cry)
13 Little Blue Envelopes(very good)
The Dragon Keeper(it's about a child, but still good)
East(another kinda beauty and the beast retelling, very good)
