Question: All these obsessive teens about Twilight!?

It gets on my nerves a little, what you guys opinion!?
Like, I think they purely do it for Robert Pattinson, half of them couldn't comprehend the feelings in the book, in my opinion!.

The girls with their "Team Edward/Team Jacob!", shirts and clothing, screaming in the cinemas!.!.
I just don't get it, I wonder if they truely appreciate the books!.
I love them, but I don't do any of that, in fact I look down on that, I tend to re-read the books, taking in the quotes, looking up interviews with S!.M!.
Is there anyone else like this!!?

I'm in love with twilight, the movie was very good too, but I think you're right, it is about the books and not the whole rob pattinson thing!.
I think he is a good actor and plays a good edward BUT the books are the most important for me too, so i think you're totally right!.Nothing could ever replace the books and beauty in how it is written, not even a good movie, only the books explain the true wonderful relationship between bella and edward!.

I loved the movie, but the book was better in my opinion!. I am not only a robbert pattision fan (all tho he rocks) , I love twilight, the books really get me reading, I always HATED reading, but everyone was like OMG READ TWILIGHT so i'm like alright!. I think you're absolutely right!. I'm 21, and I've read the books many times, and I have seen the movie!.!.!. 6 times (please don't hold that against me)!. I look at the girls that get obsessive to the point of seeing the movie, like, 15 times, and I just want to laugh!. I love the books for the story, they probably mostly love the idea!.

I do love to the books to death!!! i really apreciate all the morals in the book and how complex it is!. You learn from it that love is not easy And that no one can tell you that you and the person you love cannot be together!. I do think its stupid when people are like"oh im obsessed with twilight" just becase they have seen the moviee and Robert is in it!. I really apprieciate the book!. All these crazy fan girls are so annoying and make people who haven't even read the book look down on it, and think "Oh, it's just another little phase these tweenies are going through" and now there are "TWI-HATERS!."

Robert Pattinson is UGLY!!! He is nothing like I imagined Edward to be, and don't get me wrong, I read them before the movie came out!. But I did go to see it on opening day, and it was ok, not as good as I would've hoped!. I appreciate literature much more that book-inspired movies!. My rule is I always HAVE to read the book before going to see the movie, like Harry Potter (horrible movies by the way) and Chronicles of Narnia, LOTR, etc!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think you're being really unfair with your statements!. I love the book to death! And I'm planning on re-reading them multiple times when I finish the series!. There was so much emotion felt in the first book!. I agree with you on the pont that you would get annoyed with people who wouldn't understand the true feeling of the books!. (I can only judge the first one though, because that's the only one i've read!. But I also think that we have a right to scream in the theatre and wear Team shirts!.!.They go hand in hand!. When I went to the midnight showing, there were fans that were screaming waiting for the movie to start and when they saw Edward Cullen for the first time!. I could totally understand that, actually I was close to joining them!. As for the Twilight clothing, I bought the shirt to wear when I went to see the movie, hey its a cute tshirt!. I am a huge fan of the books, I've started reading the saga for the second time a couple of days ago!. But, I am also a huge fan Rob Pattinson, almost obsessive, but hey he's a good-looking, talented actor, who one day is going to be awesomely famous because of his next movie playing Salvador Dali, and Im proud of that!. Okay, I guess I have to agree with you about "also, I feel good,literate, book-lovers are losing respect for Twilight because of these people"!.
