Do i have to read "where the wind blows" and "the lake house" before the maximum ride books!? Will I understand everything if I don't!?!?!?

Where the Wind Blows and The Lake House are about winged children but they dont go with the Maximum Ride books!. You wont be confused!. Now!. Where the Wind Blows you want to read before The Lake House, or you will be a little confused on that!. But No!. you dont have to read either of them before the Maximum Ride Series!. Enjoy!
