Question: Did i rip off stephen king here!?

I never said that you ripped him off on purpose!.!.!.I simply pointed out the similarity!. Anyway, since his books are not in public domain, the only way to read it is to buy it!. It's in his short story collection called Four Past Midnight!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

As I read it, I thought of Secret Window, Secret Garden (short story by King, appears in Four Past Midnight) & I see someone else said that on your other question!. I disagree with someone else's comment that it's like Lisey's Story though!. I don't see any resemblance to that!.

In Secret Window, Mort Rainey murders his wife at the end - and it has the same feel!. Phone ringing, detachment of emotions etc!. But really that was the only connection, and I'm not sure I would have thought it if I wasn't looking for a King connection!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Secret Window, Secret Garden is in the collection of Four Past Midnight by Stephen King!. It is in the subsection 'Two Past Midnight!.' Any library would have it, but any site online (so far) wants you to pay for it!. Just grab a copy of the book!. The story is rather short!.

There may be similarities, but it does sound very good!. I have to say, you should continue!. Your writing style is fantastic and I could really see you as a writer some day (based solely on this clip)!. Good job!Www@QuestionHome@Com
