Writing books is just like drawing!. Its a Natural talent that you can't learn how to do!.
You do not need any qualifications or classes to become an author, just yourself and words!. Write a paragraph and if its good, you have talent!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Pad of paper, pencil, sit down and write is the best way to start!.

Seriously, if you want your writing to be other than generic, you _have_ to write for yourself and in your own way!. Once you've discovered that, then you can go looking for advice on how to improve!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Read a lot!. That's the best place to start!. Read everything you can find, all genres!.
And tell yourself stories; when you're driving, sitting, going to sleep, waiting for trains, have a constant narrative going on in your head!. Observe everything; note things down that strike you as interesting!.

Contact you local library, that's the best place to start!.

They will tell you about local book clubs, where other authors advise and do presentations etc!. They will give you ideas on how to start, and specific courses you can attend!Www@QuestionHome@Com
