Hello, young person, Well reading the words frees your imagination to make your interpretation of the story!.

Your own individual experience sees what no film maker can produce!.

That is why so often a person will feel let down when they see the movie after reading the book because they interpreted the written word and enjoyed the experience!.

I love movies as well but a book can consume you and illicit more emotions and well I can't get into alot here!. Don't listen to your friends!. literature is the most important part of a persons life it allows you to truly escape!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I do it to better my self!. Reading helps gain vocab and knowledge!.
I love reading, gets you away from regular life for a while!.

My fav books are "Catcher in the Rye" and "The Caine Mutiny"!.

I used to hate reading until i read "Born on the 4th of July" my freshmen yr of high school!. That book made me love reading!.
