Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: yeah i have a habit of doing that and ive read some great books! the last one was called 'addict' it was a life story of this bloke who went completly nuts on amphetimine from a young age he even met the krays and insulted one of them cuz he didnt know who they were! some times i just go into a book shop pick one up at random and read it, i do it with music too, buy a cd ive never heard of and listen to that!Www@QuestionHome@Com Yep!. I love going into a second hand shop and finding a book I've never heard of before!. It's like finding some forgotten piece of treasure that someone has long ago abandoned!. It gives me a little thrill!. But I get that way when I find any book I've not see before (new or second hand)!. I'm a prolific reader anyway so read pretty much anything I can get my hands on!. Luckily I live in a town full of hundreds of side streets with bookshops down them, I try to visit them at least once a week!. But in fact I only have to go to my mothers house and have a look around!. She's got over 2000 books so you always find a new one!.Www@QuestionHome@Com From what I read on this site, nobody has ever read a book which I have read, unless it was for GC SE etc!. So I must be reading obscure books, some of which are Booker prize winners!. Forget the second hand book shops!. Just go to your local book shop and avoid anything by J!.K!. Rowling - and anything with 'Twilight' in the title!.Www@QuestionHome@Com I love browsing around hay on wye and looking in the books shops there, and have and now have quite a collection of obscure books by people that few have ever heard of!. Actually i like the second hand books, which are battered and tattered due to age than the brand new ones!. When i pick up such a book, dust it and leaf through it, i feel, "this is mine!.!.!." I won't feel like that about a new book!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Yes!. i love buying books from garage sales or Second hand shops, the last book I came across was called Instant Insults and Perfect Put-Downs!. I mean they were so stupid they were funny!.
