Children's story picture book? i have an idea about a dog and a chicken bein

Question: Children's story picture book!? i have an idea about a dog and a chicken being friends but needs an ending!?

story so far:

little pup is much smaller than all the other dogs on the farm so he goes in search for a play mate who is more his size!. he (maybe finds some other animals but aren't quite right for different reasons) he finds a hen and they oddly become friends !.!.!. and i don't know the rest!. any ideas!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Ok lets simplify!. In every book there are three steps, a problem, a climax, and a solution!. You have your problem, puppy needs a friend the same size, and the solution (ending) puppy finds chicken!. You need to do something interesting to get a climax!. For instance, puppy spends all day climbing really tall barns and gates and up onto the backs of other animals to try to find a friend, just when he gives up, he sits down and under a pig trough is the chicken who is looking under it for his own friend!. Walla! New best friend!. The end!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

State the relationship between the pup and hen!. There would obviously have conflict as the pup and hen are of two different species!. Maybe, you could write about how the others in the farm view their relationship with one another!? Put a little excitement and adventure by stating that the pup and hen goes on a journey together and what they would come across during their journey!.
