Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
ha! if you do like vampire series, you should try the Vampire Diaries,4 books by L!.J!. Smith!. They are similar to twilight in the fact that they have romance in them, but definitely not as much as twilight does!. :]Www@QuestionHome@Com

The 'A Wrinkle in Time' series by Madeleine L'Engle!.
The books are as follows:

1!. A Wrinkle in Time
2!. A Wind in the Door
3!. A Swiftly Tilting Planet

To the best of my knowledge, the books are not specifically a series, but the characters continue on into these books and there are references to previous happenings!. The books deal with time and inter-galaxy travel, along with interesting concepts regarding belief and other lines of thinking!. They're thought provoking!. I like these books very much!. :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

well then!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. lol!. HARRY POTTER!!!!!!!!! :) and I would also highly recommend The Gemma Doyle Trilolgy - 'A Great and Terrible Beauty', 'Rebel Angels', and 'The Sweet Far Thing' by Libba Bray!. Historical Fiction/Fantasy - they're excellent!!! also 'The Luxe' and 'Rumors' by Anna Godbersen (the third, 'Envy', is coming out in January), it's kind of a soap opera that takes place in 1899, but very good!. And, the 'Ugglies', 'Pretties', 'Specials', 'Extras' series by Scott Westerfield - futuristic science fiction - amazing! And finally, the 'Angus, Thongs and Full Frontal Snogging' series by Louise Rennison - they are hilarious!!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Stephen King's Dark Tower saga and Eyes of the Dragon
Terry Pratchett's Discworld series
Barb & J!.C!. Hendee's Noble Dead series
Julie Kaewert's Booklover's Mysteries
anything by Clive Cussler or Jack Du Brul
Laurell K!. Hamilton's Anita Blake series - it gets R-rated about halfway through
L!.A!. Banks's Vampire Huntress Legends - lots of sex and violence but good storyWww@QuestionHome@Com

Mistborn series by Brandon Sanderson!. or Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan!. Both are very good!. They're fantasy btw!. It takes a while to get into the first book of the Wheel of Time though, but then you're hooked after page 120ish!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
