It’s not so much he falls in love with her as he knows that one day they will fall in love because he doesn’t age for the time being they just share a connection that makes them like best friends!. It helps explain WHY he was so insane over Bella in the first place!.

I think that normally people would think that an undead human couldn’t reproduce, therefore what’s the point of protection!? BUT in either case, I think it was a very creative way to make a twist in most vampire stories!.
Edward beats Bella up during sex -
He doesn’t beat her up, he’s just stronger then her I’m pretty sure I know plenty of people who’ve gotten bruises during sex!.

If he didn’t both Renesmee and Bella would have died!.

Edward can’t help it, he’s so protective of her and fascinated by her!. It’s romantic, and regardless, to the watching her while she sleeps that is a little creepy, but still very sweet, I don’t know if you’ve seen anyone sleep… its boring!.

I don’t think it’s insane, its more then likely her subconscious from what she remembered of him, or there connection to one another, being soul mates!. I have a friend who has a connection like that to a person threw her dreams!.

I totally agree with everything you have complaints about!. When I read BD, I thought it was a joke!. It was a tortuous effort to read it!. I couldn't even finish it, it was so bad!.
The worst parts for me came down to this: the baby, the pregnancy, and Bella as a vampire!.
The baby shouldn't have existed!. And Stephenie Meyer can't explain the relationship between Bella and Jake just on her unborn DNA!. What if Bella had had intercourse with someone else!? Would Jake have imprinted on that!? What if she'd had intercourse with Jake!?!?!?
The pregnancy was morbid!. Edward had to chew the baby out of Bella's stomach!? Gross!. Just the thought of clumsy, selfish Bella being a mother frightens me!. How come she suddenly wants a baby!?

I agree with you there!. I love vampire stories, and I like them dark and out of the ordinary, but one of the problems with BD was that the 'out of the ordinary' stuff that we love in fiction is just too sickening and disgusting!.

No, apparently she doesn't!. Even more than that, she doesn't understand basic biological principles!. Twenty three chromosomes plus twenty five does not equal twenty four, for instance!.
I completely agree with you!. I've raised these points before, but the explanation is usually that it's "just fiction"!. I HATE that excuse because it's inherently rather illogical (read the blurb about that excuse on the link I posted below, it explains it well)!. Something may be "just fiction", but that doesn't make it right!. Books are about sending messages that can apply to real life, regardless of whether or not it's fiction-- I mean, HP is obviously fiction, but the messages from the series are still realistic and can still apply to a person's life!. Fiction doesn't mean the characters, messages, and events can't still have a realistic basis!. In other words, fiction is not an excuse for a lack of realism!. And Twilight certainly does not send very good messages for the reasons you listed!. The way I see it, if something is wrong in real life, it's wrong in a book!. And Twilight has a nasty habit of rationalizing things I don't think should be rationalized!. Of course, that's only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to why Twilight is awful!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
