What made Shakespeare immortal was his way of describing the characters through their speech!. He knew the secrets of one's mind and soul and was able to build his characters on his knowledge about person's personality!. That's why he is so popular even nowadays; because people can associate themselves with Shakespeare's characters!. That is in my opinion, of course!. =) Www@QuestionHome@Com

Good plots, interesting characters and timeless stories, relationships and topics!. eg Romeo & Juliet, the classic love story of forbidden love, Macbeth, story of ambition and then he did a lot of historical plays, retelling favourite stories from the past that everyone likes to hear again eg Julius CaesarWww@QuestionHome@Com

because it's part of every english class ciriculum!. so everyone reads it!. and the people that read it become teachers and so the cycle continues again!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Because he was a genius!. He use of satire and language were pure genius!. The man invented his own rhyme scheme and new words that we still use in the English language!. Like I said, pure genius!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
