I read the books and when I saw the movie i was really disapointed, and I didn't really like it!. I know tons of people are gonna scream at me!. Oh and Robert Pattinson doesn't seem that hot, I think it is just because I was expecting him to be so much hotter!. So does anyone else feel like that!? Www@QuestionHome@Com
Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I had the exact same problem the first time I saw it!. I had justt finished the first book and everything was fresh in my mind and so I was extremely disappointed when they skipped over so many key parts of the story!. I finished new moon and started eclipse though and I went and saw the movie again and it seemed so much better!. I think I just decided to think of it like just a movie and not relate it to the books as much!. I know they had a small budget and for new moon they'll have a muchh larger one so I'm very excited!. And yeah, I'm a bit disappointed that Rob Pattinson isn't that hott, but like you said I think it's because everyone who read the book got their own perfect image of "Edward" that no guy could live up to!. It really blows though because now everytime I'm reading and think of Edward I see Robert instead of my fantasy Edward!. :/Www@QuestionHome@Com I wasn't happy with the actors they picked for the characters to begin with, and their acting was off for me, too!. Overall, it looked cheap and amateurish, and it left out a lot of the "thrill" parts and stuck in a bunch of stuff that didn't add anything, like where people in the diner were reminding Bella they knew her when she was a little kid!. So I was even more disappointed than I expected to be!. Robert Pattinson was nothing like the Edward I imagined in the books!. He was good in some parts, but overall, he seemed more awkward than hot!.Www@QuestionHome@Com I read the books before the movie and when I saw it I was kinda disappointed!.They left out so much detail which really irritated me! But I did like the movie,though it doesn't compare to the book!. I was shocked they left out how Jasper can control emotions!.And the part when Bella is at Edward's house and they look at all the paintings and he tells her the story Carlisle!.Oh&I do find Robert Pattinson extremely hot,but I pictured Edward faar more attractive,perfect actually!.So,Robert does not compare!.Www@QuestionHome@Com I saw Twilight on Friday, and again on Sunday, and it was *amazing*! Of course the book was *way* better, but I still *loved* the movie!. They did way better than I thought they would!. The few things I disliked were: *Edward's Volvo!. Wth is up with that!?! It's *not a Volvo*, it's a!.!.!.*Hatchback*!!! Here's what they did "Oh no, it's not a real Volvo!.!.!.here, we'll write the word 'Volvo' on it, and only use frontal camera angles so maybe they won't notice!.'" That really annoyed my friends and I!. He was basically sweating!.!.!.!. *The parts they left out Now, I know that of course they couldn't really do *everything* from the book, but, really, they took out the whole Bio scene where Edward ditches class, and then Bella gets really sick because of blood, and Edward ends up carrying her to the nurse and driving her home!. also, they left out the whole Eric/Bella prom thing!. I loved that in the book! Oh well!. Otherwise, it was *perfect*!. My personal favorite, now!.
