Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
13 Little blue envelopes
Catcher in the rye
Anything by kurt vonnegut!.

You're 14, you can move up to literature, not just little stories!. Kurt Vonnegut's welcome to the monkey house would be a good start!. If you start reading his stuff (and Ayn Rand) now, you'll be grateful for it later!. Those kind of books will help make you a more intelligent and well rounded individual!.
13 Little Blue Envelopes however is a teenage book, but it is very good and is very influential!.

EDIT: If Kurt and Ayn are too complex for you right now, Sarah Dessen is amazing!. I love her books: The truth about Forever, Just Listen, someone like you!.
Twilight is poorly written, and although I enjoyed it, not worth the read!.
I you liked The Giver then you might want to read Gathering Blue, it's like the sequel!.

also VERY IMPORTANT: I suggest this to all readers, The Little Prince!. It teaches the best lessons and makes you think!. I really think everyone should read this!.

OH The Golden compass series is a great read, and also The Divinci Code!Www@QuestionHome@Com

The Leap by Nathan Stroud
Forged by Fire by Sharon Draper
Among the Hidden by Margret Peterson Haddix
Among the Betrayed by Margret Peterson Haddix
The House on falling star Hill by Micheal Molloy
Out of the by Dust Karen Hesse
First Shot by Walter Sorrells
The 3rd Eye by Lois Lowry

You will really like "House on Falling Star Hill", "The 3rd Eye" and "The Leap" if you like supernatural!.

Anything by Anthony Horowitz, esepecially the alex ride series, the first book is called Stormbreaker!. Another really good 1 is Raven's Gate!. LOv them!.
