Question: Ideas for names!. like twilight, but not the same thing at all!. !?
I need names for a Girl who is about 16-18 years old, and is the only Daughter of her Dad whom I need a name for too!. it needs to be a modern name with a old-fashioned type twist to it!. Her Dad is the only one she has after her Mom died though I'm not sure how though, and I also need the same modern yet old-fashioned name for a vampire I have in mind!. wasn't sure if I should use Edward!.
the story is that Edward falls in love with the young girl, and her dad knows that he's a vampire, but not that Edward and his daughter fall in love!. and no it's not like twilight, though it certainly is similar!. the only thing that stays the same is the possibility of his name being Edward, and the fact that they'll fall in love!. someone comes after Edward after finding out that he's a vampire, and it's down to her to save him!. please don't bother trying to say that it's copying twilight 'cause as the book goes along it's going to have a completely different plot!. do NOT call him Edward - you are just looking for trouble calling a teenage vampire that name!. I'd suggest a name like; Ian or David or William - shortened to Will!.
Maybe for a name if you called the vampire Will the title could be --
Enter Will
because it not only refers to the vampire boys name but about choices etc!.

Alright!. For starters, I wouldn't use Edward!. I love the name and all, but it is way too connected to Twilight!. I could have sworn Stephanie copyrighted that name now!. -_-

Dawn for the name, because light will come after the darkest night!.
What I mean is that through the hardest trials and struggles something good can come out of it (if there is a happy ending)!. The vampire name needs to be something a bit more traditional - how about Edmund (its like edward) or william!.
The book could be called something quite positive like Dawn rising (contrast with vampires and night and dawns triumph) or darkness falls, etc!.

I am also writing a book with the same idea!. But it's not like Twilight at all!. The names I've used are: Edmund, Claudia (I'm changing it to Clara though), Jane, Noah, Jesse, and Elanour!. There's also a little old woman in the story named Miss Grace Atkins!. Hopefully these give you some ideas!?
I also LOVE the name Scarlett!. I personally would try to stay away from the name Edward if you are writing a book about a vampire, just because everybody knows of "Edward Cullen the Vampire"!. Just my opinion!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
